We had snow here the week before CHristmas and I was out of school for two days. That was nice to extend the vacation, but the make-up time will not be so nice. We went to the Bunn Christmas Parade and saw Santa afterwards. Lilly loved visiting with Santa and telling him all about the Red Riding Hood Barbie she wanted. It took me up until the Tuesday before Christmas to figure out exactly what this was and Lilly magically pulled a magazine out of her room and showed me this Barbie. PS: This was the Holiday Barbie and they were sold out in all stores. Luckily I was able to order just in time. Never had gifts cut so close.
Jackson wanted cakes, cookies, and pies for CHristmas, but refused to have anything to do with Santa. He squealed in terror whenever the jolly fellow came around.
Lilly was a part of our church Christmas program. She sang three songs with the choir and I didn't know whether to beam with pride or hide in embarassement....she was by far the loudest. It was precious and I was proud. He school program was canceled due to the weather.
