YEAH! No sickness at our house...well Grandaddy was sick that night, but he enjoyed most of the day. MORE YEAH...it snowed Christmas day!
Lilly woke up first and we ler her get up and see all her gifts. We thought Jackson would wake up b/c he is usually first to get up anyway (it was 7am). But no we ended up having to wake him up anyway. Both kids were excited...Jackson's reaction to his toys was much more exciting. He got a leaf blower, weed eater, and some other noisy tool. He LOVED them. Lilly mostly liked the JUNK box and spent most of her time playing with that. SHe was somewhat excited with the Barbie. Her big item was a TV and DVD player. SHe has really enjoyed this but didn't show much excitement CHrismtas morning.
By 8:30 we were at Gran's to see what Santa left there. Jackson got a bike and he was supper excited "MAMA My Bike" He had even learned to pedal by the end of the week. Lilly got roller skates and I have not been happy with Santa about this. FOr two days she wanted to sleep in them and skate on my hardwood floors. I was certain we would be in the ER. THankfully they made their way back to Gran's and I haven't seen them since.
We had a fun filled day. We had pie for supper and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. What a blessed family we have.
